Every great product starts with a problem that needed solving. For YourCuppa founder Jenny, that problem was coffee.
Jenny has a caffeine intolerance — even a small amount leaves her wired, anxious, and unable to sleep. Her solution should have been simple: switch to decaf. But her office coffee machine didn’t offer a decaf option, and none of the cafés near her workplace carried one either. Morning after morning, she went without.
Rather than give up on coffee altogether, Jenny set out to find a solution she could rely on — something that would let her make good coffee, her way, wherever she happened to be. That search led her to a compact, on-the-go coffee maker: lightweight enough to carry in a bag, simple enough to use at a desk, and capable of brewing a proper cup with whatever grounds she chose.
For the first time, Jenny was in control of her own coffee — not the office machine, not the café down the street. That shift, from limitation to choice, is what YourCuppa was built to give everyone.
